Australian paintings

Due to expressed interest in my current activities, I have created a gallery showing the oil paintings I have created during my 'home time'. They have mostly been painted from photographs taken during my travels around Australia.

Those that are photographed framed, form part of my earlier venture into oil painting around 10 years' ago. The others are more recent paintings which are still in the process of final touches, and in due course will be varnished, and any which I think are acceptable will be framed.

It has taken me 10 years to have this second attempt and I am finding it a bit more of a challenge than I had hoped. Maybe this is because I am trying out the new water-based oil colours, which are easy to clean up and free of any of the toxic odours of the traditional oil paints. However, I think when I have used up these paints, if I still have any interest in painting, I will revert to traditional oils.
