My website, www.imagesofoutbackaustralia.com, was originally intended for friends and family to give them some insight into my travels and the places which excited me along the way. When I first created it I did not then envisage that it would spread much further. However, it seems that it has commenced its own journey. Therefore I felt it appropriate to perhaps include the blog as a means of communication to visitors to the website enabling me to include from time to time not only details of existing galleries but introduce any new photos or future plans.

As described in my "About" page on the website in greater detail, I have been travelling to Outback Australia whenever the opportunity arose since 1960. Most of the included photographs have been taken during the period 2009 - 2016. However, there are some included which were taken a few years prior to this, which will not enlarge to an acceptable standard, but which I have included purely because of the joy I felt at the time they were taken and the hope that at some future date I revisit some of these areas and at the same time upgrade the quality of these photos.

Since initially establishing the website I have added photos of Victoria, having moved back Down South from the Far North, and although they can hardly be categorized as photos of Outback Australia, they are special areas of Victoria which enable me to create a more inclusive coverage of this beautiful Australian continent.
