Mungo National Park

Mungo National Park is situated in the South West corner of New South Wales and has been highlighted in recent years following the discovery of the remains of the Mungo Lady and Mungo Man which has rewritten history of mankind as we know it as these remains have been estimated to be42,000 years old. Footprints and other artefacts have also been discovered in the sands of these dried lake beds.

Balranald and surrounds

Balranald is one of three entry points to Mungo National Park in the south west corner of New South Wales. These photos are of the Murrumbidgee River at Balranald and from the road into Balranald out of Swan Hill.
