This is a large gallery of photos; includes some of the highlights of the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park in-a-day (via a local commercial tour). The Flinders Ranges in South Australia stretch for over 430 kilometers and the rugged peaks and gorges form some of the most beautiful landscapes in Australia. The area is rich in Aboriginal history and home to a vast array of wildlife. It incorporates the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, which was established on January 1, 1945. It is one of the earliest national parks in South Australia and is named after the explorer Matthew Flinders and comprises approximately 95,000 hectares. Also some photos at Pitchi Ritchi.
