Koala overlooking McMillan Strait
on Raymond Island with view across McMillan Strait to Paynesville. The Department of Fisheries and Game 32 koalas from Phillip Island to Raymond Island in 1953 due to over population and conservation issues and population thrived. Since then they are regularly monitored and some relocated onto the mainland to control population.
